How-To: Delete a Version

Deleting a version in Alli allows you to remove scheduled versions you no longer need or want to run, or to delete drafts you no longer need. This is helpful for managing Asset Groups and avoiding unnecessary updates. Note that you cannot delete old versions that have already run or Evergreen Versions.

Step 1: Navigate to the All Versions Page

• Go to the Landing Page and select the Asset Group containing the version you want to delete.

• Click on the All Versions tab to view all scheduled versions for the selected Asset Group.

Step 2 : Select the Version to Delete

• Locate the version scheduled to run that you want to remove.

• Click the three-dot menu next to the version and select Delete Version.

Step 3: Confirm the Deletion

• A confirmation dialog will appear.

• Click Delete Version to permanently delete the version.

Important Notes

• Old Versions: Versions that have already run cannot be deleted. If you need to reuse an old version, consider duplicating it instead.

• Evergreen Versions: Evergreen Versions cannot be deleted, as they are the fallback for all Asset Groups.
