Tutorial: Getting Started With Alli Ad Trafficking

Alli Ad Trafficking is currently in alpha, and its features are actively evolving. Follow these steps to explore the platform and streamline your ad trafficking process.

Step 1: Authenticate Your Platforms

Before you can begin using Alli Ad Trafficking, connect your Meta, TikTok, or Snapchat accounts to enable seamless access to your campaigns and settings.

Step 2: Craft Your Prompt

Alli Ad Trafficking leverages natural language prompts to simplify the process of ad trafficking. Instead of configuring each platform manually, you can describe your trafficking needs in plain language.

  • Enter a detailed description of your ad requirements in the prompt field. You can use details housed in. your trafficking sheet to build it, or craft it from scratch.

  • Example:

    • “Duplicate Ad ID XYZ on Meta, update the ad name to PR^US^BlackFriday^Denim, update copy to XYZ, and landing page to www.abc.com

    • “Create a video ad on TikTok, name it TestVideoAd, use the attached video, and set the copy to “Black Friday Sales!””

  • If you have an new image or video, use the image upload icon to provide that to Alli Ad Trafficking.

  • Try and be specific about the platform and ad details you want to update, including ad copy, description, headline, name, landing page, etc.

Pro Tip: If you’re new to crafting prompts, start simple and refine as needed.

Step 3: Execute the Prompt

Once your prompt is complete, execute it to create the ad.

  • Click the blue arrow next to the promo to process your trafficking request.

  • The ad will be created in a paused state on the respective platform. You’ll receive:

    • A link to the ad in the respective ads manager for further review.

    • A preview of the ad (if supported by the platform) in Alli or through a preview link provided by the platform.

Step 4: Review and QA in Platform

Currently, QA and adjustments happen directly in the platform where the ad is deployed.

  • Use the provided ads manager link to review your ad’s details, such as targeting, creative, and budget.

  • Make any necessary edits directly within the platform to ensure the ad aligns with your objectives.

Note: We’re actively developing an enhanced QA stage within Alli Ad Trafficking to allow you to visualize and adjust ads before deployment. Stay tuned for updates as we roll out this feature.

Step 5: Activate Your Ad

After QA, return to the platform and activate the ad when you’re ready to launch.

By following these steps, you’ll be able to efficiently create and deploy ads using Alli Ad Trafficking while leveraging platform tools for final QA and adjustments. Future updates will make the process even more seamless!
