How-To: Name Datasource Columns

Overview

When creating a new datasource, you might need to manually name columns. If that is the case, Alli has a few naming conventions that must be followed.

Column Naming Conventions

• Column names must

  • Be unique

  • Be 127 characters long or shorter

  • Begin with a letter

    • Can not begin with an underscore or number

  • Only contain numbers, underscores, and letters
