Data Library 2.0 Report Use Cases

Overview

This guide walks through the use cases for each ADL 2.0 report type so that the product is better understood from the perspective of all relevant users of Data Library.

Account Performance

Description: Each record or row in this report contains daily metrics and attributes for a specific account

Use cases:

  • Querying metrics for a specific account of a client

Example: Summing clicks for the Amelia Island Villas account for Omni Hotels

Campaign Performance

Description: Each record or row in this report contains daily metrics and attributes for a specific campaign

Use cases:

  • Querying metrics for a specific campaign

  • Understanding the marketing objective of the campaign

  • Knowing the daily campaign budget level that can be spent on said campaign

Example: Querying the campaign objective for this Omni Hotels campaign

Adgroup Performance

Description: Each record or row in this report contains daily metrics and attributes for a specific adgroup

Use cases:

  • Querying metrics for a specific adgroup

  • Understand the marketing objective of the adgroup

  • Know the audience type and audience strategy associated with the adgroup

Example: An audience strategy is outlined for a Omni Hotels adgroup

Ad Performance

Description: Each record or row in this report contains daily metrics and attributes for a specific ad

Use cases:

  • Querying metrics for a specific ad

  • Understand the marketing objective of the ad

  • Understand the audience type and audience strategy associated with the ad

  • Know what the ad status is at the current time

Example: The ad status is shown for a Omni Hotels ad

Creative Performance

Description: Each record or row in this report contains daily metrics and attributes for a specific creative

Use cases:

  • Querying metrics for a specific creative

  • Understand the marketing objective of the creative

  • Know the audience type and audience strategy associated with the creative

  • Analyze other meta data associated with the creative

Example: The creative status is shown for a Omni Hotels ad

Audience Performance

Description: A search channel, adgroup level report focused on gaining performance insights on the client’s different audiences. Each record or row in this report contains daily metrics and attributes for an audience segmented by adgroup

Use cases:

  • Querying metrics for a specific audience

  • Understand the audience type and audience strategy associated with the adgroup

  • Know what the audience status is at the current time

Example: The audience names, audience status, and audience types is shown for the CORE adgroup for Kohler

Inventory Performance

Description: A display channel, adgroup level report focused on gaining performance insights on the client’s different group placements. Each record or row in this report contains daily metrics and attributes for inventory/placement segmented by adgroup

Use cases:

  • Querying metrics for specific inventory

  • Know what domain and exchange the the placement is facilitated by

  • Understand the audience strategy and marketing objective associated with the adgroup

Example: Metrics, domain, and the exchange defined for an Omni retargeting adgroup

Keyword Performance

Description: A search channel, adgroup level report focused on gaining performance insights on distinct keywords used in the client’s marketing campaigns. Each record or row in this report contains daily metrics and attributes for a keyword segmented by the adgroup

Use cases:

  • Querying metrics for a specific keyword

  • Know what the keyword status and match type is

  • Analyze the quality score of the keyword

Example: Keyword specific attributes for an Omni Hotels adgroup

Productgroup Performance

Description: A search channel, adgroup level report focused on gaining performance insights on the client’s different group product groups. Each record or row in this report contains daily metrics and attributes for a product group segmented by adgroup

Use cases:

  • Aggregating metrics for a specific product group

  • Query product group related attributes and fields

Example: Product group attributes for the Mens Accessories adgroup of Ralph Lauren

Searchterm Performance

Description: A search channel, ad level report focused on gaining performance insights on the client’s audience’s searches. Each record or row in this report contains daily metrics and attributes for a search segmented by ad

Use cases:

  • Aggregating metrics for a specific search

  • Query search term related attributes and fields

Example: Search term attributes for a specific Omni Hotels ad

Geo Country Performance

Description: A display channel, campaign report focused on gaining campaign performance insights by geographical characteristics. This specific report gives country related data. Each record or row in this report contains daily metrics and attributes for a country segmented by campaign and publisher platform

Use cases:

  • Aggregating metrics for a specific country

  • Query country related attributes and fields

Example: Country specific metrics and performance for Omni Hotels campaigns

Geo Region Performance

Description: A display channel, campaign report focused on gaining campaign performance insights by geographical characteristics. This specific report gives region related data. Each record or row in this report contains daily metrics and attributes for a region segmented by campaign and publisher platform

Use cases:

  • Aggregating metrics for a specific region

  • Query region related attributes and fields

Example: Region specific metrics and performance for Omni Hotels campaigns

Google Ads Performance Max Performance: Coming Soon

Description:

Each row of data represents a Performance Max Campaign performance from Google Ads, and showcases how the campaign performed within it's interaction targets.

A Google Ads Performance Max Report that showcases performance across it’s interaction targets. Joins the Campaign Performance with the Shopping Performance.

Use cases:

  • Aggregating metrics for only Performance Max across All Google Ads, Shopping, Display and Video
