SFTP in alli audiences

SFTP is a protocol that is used for transferring files. It is the most commonly used and one of the only ways to ingest data into audiences.

You will need to have this set up to import data into audiences.

First thing you need to decide on is whether your clients will be using a regular SFTP or alli SFTP [What’s the difference?]

We prefer that all new clients use alli SFTP - but if you are onboarding onto a client that is already using audiences - there is a simple way to figure out which type of SFTP they use
